The pumpkin patches are all getting pretty bare around these parts. We went to a local pumpkin patch on Sauvie Island this weekend, and most of the pumpkins in the field were mushy and dead, but we managed to find a few keepers!
I was wondering if the pumpkin patch places charge less if you wait until a few days before to buy them? This crossed my mind as I drove past a patch not far from where we live. I also wondered how they secure those places at night so people don't just steal the pumpkins.

Your kids are so cute! And so big. . . I remember them as tiny babies! It's fun to see what they grew up to be like.
